Also know as Express Learning, Blended Learning or eLearning (online lessons blended with hands-on skills session) has a combination of both virtual learning (Part 1) and in person skills training (Part 2).
American Heart Association eLearning program certification is equivalent to a regular 100% class room training and the same card is issued at completion of the course for both Class Room and eLearning courses.
Part 1, American Heart Association online course
Students are emailed access to course work to be completed on the American Heart Association website. Students work at their own pace. Once the student has completed all course work, the student prints the course completion certificate to give to his instructor for Part 2. Part 1 should take about 2 hours to complete but students can work on small sections at a time and complete the course over several days if they choose.
Part 2, Hands-on skills practice session with an Authorized AHA Instructor
Students practice and show in person, good Compressions, Breathing Skills, and AED. These are all used in a rescue scenario where the student perform is knowledge of all three skills, Compressions, Breathing, and AED. There skills are performed for Adult, Child and Infant. Choking skills are then performed. Part 2 should take 30 minutes to an hour depending the type of class and the experience of the student.

This service is for those who have previously purchased a blended course and have completed all virtual coursework with certificate of completion. A copy of your certification must be emailed to altcprtraining@gmail.com before meeting to complete your skills test.
